This par 71, 6,904-yard track, set in a spectacular, wooded rolling terrain about 15 miles from Raleigh, North Carolina, has been a challenging and rewarding test for players of all skill levels since it opened in October 2000.

Here is the imagination part - Eagle Ridge Golf Club was designed by 1992 US Open Champion Tom Kite. He did much more than just lend his famous name to the project. It is estimated that he made almost two dozen trips to the course during its development. The characteristics of this beauty reflect the qualities that made Kite a 19-time PGA TOUR winner – a hard working attitude and the ability to hit wedge shots close.

The former Ryder Cup captain teamed up with Bob Cupp, who knows a little about golf course design himself after spending 14 years as Senior Designer for Jack Nicklaus. Just to top things off, Eagle Ridge Golf Club brought in Billy Fuller, one of the game's finest agronomists, to build the course. How good is Fuller? When Augusta National wanted to rebuild their greens and bunkers, he's the guy they called. So when you walk the greens of Eagle Ridge Golf Club, you are flirting with hallowed ground as well as championship design.
